Only 3 New York marathons? haha just joking... that's pretty impressive... i'm quite the accomplished sea kayaker myself! I didn't know they did that way out on the east coast.
Joking aside, i've heard a lot about Brison... and I have yet to speak to anyone, who has met him personally, who has had anything bad to say about him. Typically they are extremely impressed by him. Say that he is very down-to-earth, personable... and most importantly oozes intelligence. That's the kind of person we need running our party. Someone who is very intelligent, but at the same time very grounded. From what I have seen on TV, he knows how to handle himself very well and is very charismatic! I'm always eager to hear what he says next.
I would really like to meet him, and based on what i've heard, and what i've seen, I would seriously consider supporting him if he decides to run for leader.
Brison should run. He brings excitment to the race. Hope he wins!!
You forgot to mention that the investment banking firm he worked for, Yorkton Securities, got into trouble with the OSC - paying several millions of dollars in fines... while he was a Vice President.
The last commentee clearly isn't a Liberal. How else could you take a broad brush and paint everyone in the same organization with it?
You may recall a small sponsorship scandal that happened in the late 90's. A few people in the party took part in some wrongdoing. As Gomery demonstrated, the wrong was limited to those individuals. Not everyone in the Liberal Party is a bad person. Perhaps the same can be said for Yorkton.
Incidentally, one person stood up in the House of Commons and across Canada and defended innocent members of the Liberal Party. Perhaps the least he's owed is a little respect.
Nice to see his old Tory leadership photo is still being put to good use!
